It was in April this year that we did make mention on how the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 could very well be the South Korean conglomerate’s thinnest tablet to date. Having said that, here is news on an upcoming model from the same mould – that is, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 that has been spotted on the FCC, where it features a diagram which you can see above that will jive with previous leaks.
Other leaks concerning the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 happens to point to the model number SM-T715, and it is touted to arrive alongside an octa-core 1.9GHz CPU (with the chipset being, in all probability, an Exynos 7420), 3GB RAM, and 16GB of internal memory. Your eyes will be treated to an 8” AMOLED display with 4:3 ratio and a resolution count of 2048 x 1536 pixels, while there will be an 8MP camera at the back, alongside a front-facing 2MP shooter, not to mention optional LTE connectivity thrown into the mix for good measure.
Do expect the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 to make its debut in a couple of configurations later this month – basically, we are looking at an 8” and a 9.7” model. As for pricing details, your guess would be as good as ours.
