Samsung Galaxy Tab E Unveiled Officially
So, there has been prior leaks before the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Tab E, but then again, that is to be expected with the device being so close to an official reveal back when the leaks happened. Carrying the model number SM-T560, this is a new Android-powered tablet that will not cost a bomb, but then again, the mid-range pricing would also automatically translate to it having mid-range hardware specifications, too, and that would mean you will have a pretty standard user experience without the bells and whistles of a high end model.
Making an official announcement over in Taiwan, the Galaxy Tab E will measure 8.5mm thin, where it tips the scales at 490 grams, and will come with a 9.6” TFT display with 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. Underneath the hood, you will find a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor run the show, while it is rather disappointing to hear that Android KitKat, rather than Lollipop, would arrive right out of the box, in addition to preinstalled Microsoft Office apps.
Other hardware specifications point to a microSD memory card slot, a 2MP selfie shooter, a 5MP camera at the back, 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory, with a 5000 mAh battery running the show.
