It looks like those of you out there who absolutely loved Plants vs. Zombies to bits would be pleased as punch to find out that a sequel has just been announced – and it will be known as Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 (naturally!). Needless to say, the same folks are behind this zany game, and PopCap Games will bring the battle for suburbia to crazy new heights.
What makes this particular title special and different from the rest? Well, it marks the very first time in franchise history where zombies have managed to take over Suburbia, and the plants will need to go on the offensive. Now, this is going to be pretty hard to do if you so happen to be rooted in just one place, but logic does not play much of a role in such a storyline anyway.
In Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, each faction will see new characters that hail from the past, present, and future which will join the fight. There are all new modes to play your way through as you take advantage of unique gameplay features, as well as explore all-new maps. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is tipped to launch this coming spring for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC, and there will be free content updates from time to time in order to make sure that the game remains relevant and fresh all the time.
