It was not too long ago that the Oppo R7 as well as the Oppo R7 Plus were announced, not to mention leaks of the former making its way online as well, where both handsets went on sale over in China. It looks like those who have been hankering after the Oppo R7 but do not happen to live in the world’s most populous country need not fret – as the handset is now made available for international orders, and this will include those of us living Stateside. While you can place your pre-order now, shipping will only commence from July onward.
The asking price for the Oppo R7 stands at $399 a pop for an unlocked device – and you need not fork out any more money for shipping since that will be free. You will have a choice of either silver or gold for the device, and a limited time offer from Oppo would see customers receive a pair of iLike Speed Metal headsets after signing up for a pre-order.
Do take note that while the handset itself is officially sold by Oppo, it will arrive with an European charging plug, hence those who live in the US will need to obtain an adapter beforehand, and it will not support US LTE bands as well, although it does play nice with AT&T and T-Mobile’s 3G networks.
