Chinese smartphone manufacturers happen to be on a roll, if one were to check out the sheer number of new and upcoming models. Oppo is one of them, and it looks as though there is a spanking new device that is all set to grace the market – where it will be known as the Oppo Mirror 5. The Oppo Mirror 5 is unique in a sense where it comes with an attractive rear panel, which is similar in nature to that of the cool looking Oppo R1x (which has seen a worldwide launch in April this year). The Oppo Mirror 5 hopes that the mirrored rear back with diamond pattern will be able to entice customers.
The remaining details of the Oppo Mirror 5 remain to be revealed, but for now, it does look as though the Oppo Mirror 5 will boast of a rear camera that sports PureImage 2.0+ interface, a 5MP front-facing shooter with Beatify 3.0 functions for the narcissists out there.
Apart from that, there will be 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory that will keep this bad boy going. Expect the Oppo Mirror 5 to roll out across 20 markets before July is over, where you can choose from 3G and LTE variants, depending on which market it is released in. Do look out for an official announcement soon, and hopefully it will be a whole lot more worth purchasing than the Mirror 3.
