Just a few days ago, the OnePlus 2 name itself has been confirmed by our friends over at OnePlus itself – which is more or less an open secret, anyways. Well, it looks like there is also a new rumor making an appearance all the way from China, where it claims that the OnePlus 2 smartphone will end up being official in a release later this July, although there has been no exact release date mentioned just yet.
Of course, availability of a particular handset is one thing, the pricing details would be another. It seems that the upcoming OnePlus 2 smartphone too, will come with a CNY1,999 price tag over in China, and using prevailing exchange rates, it would end up as $322 thereabouts, which would be approximately €285 for folks who happen to live in Europe.
Should the above mentioned be true, then the handset should be made available at the international level from $349 and €349, respectively. In other words, we are talking about having it gain a premium of $100 and €100 more as opposed to what the OnePlus One is going for at the moment. Needless to say, it would not be deemed to be uber expensive since the hardware specifications that come along with this device are pretty top notch in the first place.
