Starting with some of the more notable features is the Nikon D5’s ISO range. The D4S can currently go up to a maximum of 25,600 as far as native ISO is concerned, but the D5 will outshine it with a native high ISO of 102,400. Of course by then your photo will be extremely noisy if you were to shoot at such high ISOs, but at least the option is there.
The other more notable spec of the camera is its rumored ability to capture videos in 4K resolution. Given that 4K seems to be the upcoming standard as far as display resolution is concerned, this might be of interest to movie makers. Other rumored specs of the camera includes a 20MP FX sensor, 173 autofocus points, 15fps, and a design similar to that of the D4S.
It has also been rumored for a possible launch late 2015 or early 2016, with the latter we can only assume it will be at CP+, but this is just speculation on our part but do check back with us at a later date for more details.
