Several years ago, Razer unveiled a wireless gaming mouse in the form of the Razer Mamba. At that time it was a unique mouse as it came with a charging stand that also doubled up as the Bluetooth receiver in which it allowed the mouse to be used wirelessly. Fast forward to today, Razer has announced that they have updated the Razer Mamba model.
As expected of most gaming mice, especially from Razer, the new Mamba does not hold back when it comes to speed, with Razer advertising that the mouse has 16,000 DPI. In fact users will be able to fine tune the mouse according to their preferences by as much as 1 DPI increments, making it as precise as possible.
The Mamba will also feature the company’s Click Force Technology that basically allows the user to choose between 14 different click feels. There will also be LED lights along the side of the mouse and in between the scroll wheel that gamers can customize to their liking. As expected, the new Razer Mamba will continue to be a wireless mouse, although there is also a cable that lets you use it in cabled form if that’s what you want.
As is the case with most Razer products and gaming mice in general, the Razer Mamba will not come cheap as it is priced at £134.99 and £79.99 for the wireless model and the Tournament Edition respectively. It is also expected to be released in Q3 2015.
