Meizu is a smartphone manufacturer that hails from China, and boy do they have some more than decent handsets that have been released to date. It looks like their upcoming flagship device, the Meizu MX5, which has also recently picked up the nod of approval from the authority bodies in that part of the world, has more details leaked through the TENAA reveal. TENAA, being somewhat the FCC equivalent of China, has revealed that there will be a couple of variants of the Meizu MX5, namely the M575M and M575U.
Of course, these variants will not only have differences in terms of model numbers, but also in the hardware as well. For starters, the Meizu MX5 will come with an octa-core 2.3GHz processor (MT6793, perhaps?), without mentioning which of the two handsets will carry that particular processor, while there will also be extremely speedy high voltage charging at 12V DC. Certainly this would make it a first from any smartphone manufacturer!
It does look as though the upcoming Meizu MX5 will sport a 5.5” display, although there is a possibility that the display itself would not make use of a standard 16:9 panel which would be rather unorthodox when you think about it. Do you think that the Meizu MX5 will be able to sell well when it launches?
