Microsoft today launched a new application for Windows Phone handsets named Calls+ which will provide users with advanced options to manage features such as call forwarding and call waiting on their Windows Phone handset. True that many carriers have provided settings to their users through which they can configure these features but it goes without saying that the entire process would be much easier when controlled through easy to understand actions on the device itself.
Calls+ is actually quite like Microsoft’s Network+ application, it’s available as a standalone app from the Windows Phone Store but once installed it’s not displayed as a separate app on the device.
Installing the Calls+ app which actually add all of those features and options to the Windows Phone handset’s Settings Hub from where all of them can easily be controlled.
Advanced features that can be configured using the app include call forwarding to other numbers while the handset is switched off, when the line is busy or when the user doesn’t answer. It also lets users enable or disable Call Waiting.
Microsoft’s Call+ application also provides these features for devices with dual-SIM support. The app is live now and can be downloaded free of charge from the Windows Phone Store.
