According to their findings when it comes to hotels, they found that iPhone users were willing to spend 25% more per night on a hotel than their Android counterparts. The average hotel price selected by iOS users was at $166 per night while Android users had an average hotel price of $134.
The survey also found that Android users prioritized bargains with about 52% selecting hotels that cost below $100 a night, compared to the 39% of iphone users. They also found that Apple users were more inclined towards luxury hotels with 20% of them selecting hotels that cost $200-$250 a night, versus the 12% of Android users.
Now one could argue that given that iPhones are typically priced much higher than most flagship Android handsets, that if one was willing to fork out that much for an iPhone, they would be inclined to pay more for hotels too, but what do you guys make of this survey? Do you agree that maybe iPhone users have slightly more expensive tastes than their Android friends?
