The group has recently announced that their iOS 8.4 jailbreak is now available. It turns out that Apple had not bothered to fix the exploit that they used to jailbreak iOS 8.3 Either that or Apple has yet to discover it which could be good news as hopefully it will carry over to iOS 9, although we suppose that might be a bit ambitious.
However TaiG points out that another jailbreak team from China called PP Jailbreak has allegedly stolen and repackaged some of TaiG’s work and released it under their own banner, something which TaiG is understandably not too happy about. The team has promised that they will release their own package after they have run some tests.
If you want to check to see if their jailbreak is available, just head on over to TaiG’s website for the updates. In the meantime as always, proceed with caution when jailbreaking your device, and always remember to back it up lest something goes wrong.
