Earlier in the week, we did mention that the upcoming flagship device from Huawei, which will be known as the Huawei Honor 7, is set to arrive with a price point that will change the previous structure. In fact, it will be more expensive than before as opposed to the modus operandi of other smartphone manufacturers that will offer the new flagship at a similar price point as that of its predecessor. All in all, we cannot wait for the unveiling later at the end of this month, where invitations for the event had already been sent out. Still, nothing concrete about the hardware specifications are available, and the latest word on the street points to a 5.2” display on the Huawei Honor 7, as opposed to earlier reports of a 5” Full HD display.
The latest rumor hails from tipster Antonio Monaco, and while the claim of a 5.2” display is worth checking out, one ought to note that the resolution which accompanies this latest rumor would remain at 1080 x 1920 pixels, which means that there is no change from the earlier Full HD count in previous rumors. If it were to be true, then the pixel density would suffer a little bit, dropping from 441ppi to 434ppi. As with all rumors, it is best to take this one with a liberal pinch of salt and wait for the official smartphone’s release for more information.
