Google has recently pushed out an update for its Hangout app on iOS and with the update it brings it up to version 4.0 It also introduces the new UI that we saw in the previous reports. The most notable and obvious change right off the bat is the color scheme where it appears to be a darker shade of green.
Conversations held with people are now more obvious as to who said what as the other side will be highlighted in a dark green while your text bubble will be in white. There have also been some slight changes on how users share files such as photos and locations with the other person, but nothing overly drastic.
The send button has also been changed slightly and now seems to be more like floating button rather than a fixed one, hovering in between the text box and the chat window. Now for those wondering about the Android version, Google has stated that it is currently in the works.
