Thanks to @evleaks (who is supposedly retired), press renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 Active were leaked online. This more or less confirms what we’ve seen before except that in this particular rendering, there is no camo motif in the design, so perhaps we could be looking at one of the variants, either that or Samsung has decided to do away with the camo design altogether.
Unfortunately like we said this still doesn’t tell us when the phone will launch, but hopefully it’s an indication that it is close to being officially announced. In the meantime just in case you missed out on the specs, here’s what we know about the device (unofficially) so far. The Galaxy S6 Active is said to sport a 5.1-inch QHD display and will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7420 processor.
It will come with 3GB of RAM, a 16MP rear-facing camera, a built-in heart rate monitor, and will most likely be water and dust resistant, and as we can see in the photo it will most likely be able to take a beating and survive thanks to its tough exterior.
