The Katana 01 is not going to wow anyone at all who are on the lookout for flagship devices, since this happens to pack in its fair share of entry level specifications, such as a 4.5” IPS LCD display with FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) resolution, an unknown quad-core processor, a camera at the back with dual-LED flash and a 1700mAh battery. Arriving in silver, black, yellow and purple shades, it will cost $160 a pop.
As for the Katana 02, it looks set to arrive only in black, and will cost $240 a pop – with a quad-core processor, a 5” HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display, and a 2600mAh battery. Chances are, the Katana 01 and 02 could very well be Windows 10 Mobile versions of Android handsets, as opposed to being new devices built from ground up, although until it is officially revealed, we will not be able to tell for sure.
