Microsoft has confirmed that it will be selling a limited edition Forza Motorsport 6 Xbox One console that features a custom paint job and special sound effects in order to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Forza. What about those who already have an Xbox One and don’t want to spend more money on a new console? Well, those gamers will be able to purchase the Forza Motorsport 6 Xbox One controller separately.
The official listing for this controller has now gone live on the Microsoft Store, it doesn’t require customers to purchase the full console again, it works just as well with existing Xbox One units.
Forza Motorsport 6 was announced by Microsoft during its E3 2015 press conference, the new title is going to be released this September and that’s when the limited edition console bundle will be released as well.
This is the new wireless controller from Microsoft which features a 3.5mm standard headphone jack, it has a color scheme inspired by the Ford GT as well as a rubberized diamond grip which resembles a racing wheel.
The Forza Motorsport 6 Xbox One controller can be purchased from Microsoft for $64.99, that’s $5 more than the standard black controller, it will be released prior to the title on September 7th.
