It wasn’t really a secret that Forza 6 is in the pipeline but today the title got its official announcement during Microsoft’s E3 2015 press conference. The company confirmed when Forza Motorsport 6 is going to be released and ahead of Ford’s return to Le Mans in 2016, it was also revealed that the Ford GT is present as a vehicle option in the new title. Today Microsoft showed off the next iteration of its racing simulator in the flesh and surely the attendees were excited to see what Forza Motorsport 6 brings to the table.
Forza Motorsport 6 features more than 26 locations and 450 cars, it even has support for 24 car multiplayer. It had dynamic weather, a feature sorely missed from Forza 5 which was actually a launch title for the Xbox One in 2013.
This title follows after Forza Horizon 2 which was developed by Playground Games, the new title has been developed by Turn 10, the studio says that this is “the most beautiful, technically advanced” game that it has ever built.
A gameplay trailer was also shown off by Microsoft during the E3 2015 press conference in which it officially launched Forza 6, it’s a good watch particularly if you own an Xbox One and are interested in this racing sim.
Microsoft confirmed today that Forza Motorsport 6 will be released for the Xbox One on September 15th, 2015.
