If there’s one complaint many people have had with regards to the iPhone is that it’s too expensive, at least compared to the competition out there. However some people believe the price is justified and there even those who would be willing to spend more on the phone’s case itself.
Well if you have a couple of thousand to spare, perhaps you might be interested in Formatti’s latest offering. The company has recently unveiled new iPhone cases at Computex and as you can see in the image above, these are not your run of the mill iPhone cases. These Formartti cases are made from gold and will feature jewels embedded into them.
The case itself will be made from aluminum or stainless steel and are plated with 24-karat gold afterwards. Then will then be embedded with jewels ranging from a customized design and choice of gem, or you could always opt for Swarovski crystals instead. Sounds luxurious, doesn’t it? To a certain extent it looks ostentatious as well and so is its asking price where it will be priced starting at a little over $2,000.
The cases have been designed for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in mind, with the company boasting that its most expensive case is priced at $9,700. Yikes! So, any takers?
