We do know that this particular update is being sent out to units that are located in Hong Kong as well as Taiwan, where the smartphone is readily available. Apart from that, the update will also be rolling out in regions where the smartphone will launch sometime in the coming weeks, including the likes of India, Singapore, Netherlands, Russia, Vietnam and Turkey. Folks living in Ukraine who have the dual SIM version of the phone (E6533) too, will be on the receiving end of the same update.
As for those in the UK, the handset would obtain two firmware updates (28.0.A.7.24 and 28.0.A.7.27), although the Xperia Z3+ remains unreleased. It looks like an update will help the Xperia Z3+ handle whatever overheating issues that came with the handset – which is a good thing, of course.
