Regardless of Bethesda’s statement, in the meantime it looks like other retailers have similarly echoed the 2015 release date. These aren’t your small time retailers and they include the likes of GameStop, GMG, and Amazon, all of whom have pegged the game for a 2015 release.
Of course these retailers may simply be speculating themselves and are putting a 2015 release as a placeholder, but we’re sure many gamers would prefer if it were released this year as opposed to next. Bethesda’s own online store has since been updated and instead of reading “TBA 2015”, it now reads “TBA”.
In any case Bethesda will be hosting their E3 conference come 13th of June where hopefully more details will be revealed, so be sure to check back with us then for all your Fallout 4 news. In the meantime here’s hoping that Bethesda releases the game this year, although given how long players have been waiting for it, we suppose a 2016 release might not be so bad.
