Less than a week ago, we did bring you word on the Gionee Marathon M4 smartphone that will pack a massive 5,000mAh power, thanks to a pair of batteries within that deliver superior usage time. Would there be room for a new generation smartphone that comes with a large capacity battery? Apparently so, as evident by the new Doogee S6000 that is set to ship later this August, where it claims to come with a massive 6,000mAh battery within, now how about that for longevity?
The Doogee S6000 is also touted to be able to charge twice as fast as other batteries, which would be a relief, too, when you think about it, taking into consideration the size of the battery in the first place. Boating a MediaTek chipset underneath the hood, it will carry an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU accompanied by the Mali-T720 GPU. There will be 1GB RAM in tow as well, alongside the likes of 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, a 5.5” display with 720 x 1280 resolution, an 8MP shooter behind with an aperture of f/2.0, and selfie lovers can make do with the front-facing 5MP camera.
Touted to arrive with a Zinc Titanium build, the Doogee S6000 is said to be priced at $139.99 after conversion when it hits the market later this August in China.
