One of the reasons why gamers might have purchased the Ultimate Edition of Battlefield Hardline is so that they will be able to access the DLC ahead of everyone else, but it seems that there are some gamers who are running into issue with the DLC, so much so that it seems that the head start they were given has been rendered moot.
According to reports on the official forums, there have been some gamers who claim that they are unable to access the Criminal Activity DLC which was supposed to be released for Premium members come 22nd of June. Oddly enough, it seems that this issue is only affecting gamers on the PlayStation 4 console, meaning that players of the game on other platforms should have no problems.
This has since been acknowledged by the game’s multiplayer producer Zach Mumbach in which he posted on the forums by saying, “First off, I apologize. This sucks. Right now we are looking at all the digital versions on PS4 to make sure everyone can download. Best update I can give you right now.” It is unclear as to when this issue will be sorted out, but gamers who have been affected have since started to ask Sony for refunds.
