batman arkham knightAs many gamers have probably heard by now, Batman: Arkham Knight for the PC has had its sales suspend due to the numerous glitches in the game that rendered it relatively unplayable for many, although there are some gamers who claims that the game runs just fine. So far many seem to be turning their ire towards Rocksteady, but the question is, should they?

As it turns out maybe not because the PC port of the game was not by Rocksteady, but another studio called Iron Galaxy. This was revealed in a forum post in which community manager CODA wrote, “We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible.”

The credits in the game also reveal that Iron Galaxy was responsible for the PC port, while Rocksteady was the main developer behind the console version of the game. In any case regardless of who ported it, it’s odd that for a game with this many glaring issues that Warner Bros. even greenlit this, so perhaps pressure from the publishers forced Iron Galaxy to rush out a game that has not been optimized.

Hopefully now that all of this has been brought to light with a lot of gamers breathing down the necks of the studios that something can be done, and hopefully it will be soon. In the meantime gamers have been advised to request for a refund if they’d rather not wait.
