The Barmate Mini Will Create A “Perfect” Mojito In 30 Seconds

A nicely mixed mojito on a hot summer’s day sounds like a perfect way to unwind. However there can be quite a lot of work involved in a mojito, such as muddling the lime and mint leaves, getting the mixture of alcohol to lime juice just right, and of course having sufficient ice to make it an ice cold beverage.

For the novice bartender, this could result in you taking a couple of minutes to make the drink for yourself, and that’s assuming you’ve done it properly, but if you’d rather not go through the hassle of trial and error, you might be interested in a device called the Barmate Mini. This is a machine made by BlendBow that claims to be able to mix up a perfect mojito in 30 seconds!

How it works is very simple. All the user has to do is put in the ingredients, like sugar, rum, mint leaves, lime juice, and etc., place a glass under the dispenser, press a button and the machine will whip it up (or mix it up) in half a minute and you’ll be good to go! Of course some might argue that nothing quite beats the hands of a seasoned bartender, but if convenience is what you’re after then the Barmate Mini might be the perfect device for you.

Unfortunately it does come with a rather hefty price tag of 499 euros a month (it is a rental). This is pretty expensive considering that there are other drink machines such as Nespressos that are considerably cheaper (yes, we know it is a coffee machine) and the fact that this only makes mojitos, but if you can justify its price tag then why not?
