That being said, Apple Music has the ability to learn what you like. This is according to a report from Rolling Stone in which they claim that the service will be able to scan your music library collection to determine the kind of songs you listen to, in which it will then be able to offer up recommendations based on that.
Users will also be able to tap on hearts to show that they like a song or an artist, which is actually similar to what Beats Music offered to its users, so that over time the algorithm deployed by Apple will become smarter at trying to curate and recommend music that it thinks you will like.
This is a handy feature as it will save users time from having to constantly seek out artists and songs manually. Apple Music will launch today where users can subscribe and receive a free 3-month trial period, after which they will have to pay Apple a monthly subscription in order to keep using the service.
