Unveiled at Computex 2015, Aorus took the wraps off their latest gaming laptop which came in the form of the Aorus X5, and as the name suggests, this is a laptop that will sit in between the X3 and the X5. As a quick recap, the X3 came with a 13.9-inch display while the X7 had a 17.3-inch display, so with the X5, Aorus decided to go with a happy middle with a display size of 15.6-inches.
Is this the perfect size? We suppose it really depends on your needs, but it does sit in between of being too small and being too big which some users might appreciate. Its 15.6-inch display will offer up a resolution of 2880×1620 so safe to say that gamers can look forward to a very sharp display.
As for under the hood, the Aorus X5 can be configured up to an Intel Core i7-57000HQ and clocked up to 3.5GHz. It will come with 8GB of RAM by default but users can configure it and add as much as 32GB of RAM. It will pack an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M for a GPU and users can choose between regular HDD or SSD storage. Given its specs, it does not come as a surprise that the Aorus X5 will not be cheap as it is priced starting at $2,299.
