It was not too long ago that we mentioned how Wi-Fi calling could very well make its way to the Nexus 6 via T-Mobile within a week or so, and it looks as though the patient waiting will finally pay off, as T-Mobile’s Nexus 6 is set to make your Memorial Day weekend all the more exciting , as the Nexus 6’s Wi-Fi Calling update has been approved and it should see a roll out over the weekend.
It must be taken into notice that the update happens to be build LYZ28E, which T-Mobile’s support site has depicted it to be an update to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Hence, all of you Nexus 6 owners out there, you are not only going to be able to take advantage of Wi-Fi Calling capability, but you would also be able to enjoy the latest version of Android, now how about that for a double bonus?
Do take note that the update will roll out to a tiny group of Nexus 6 owners who are rocking to T-Mobile, and should there be no hiccups in the process, then the update is set to be introduced to an even broader range of users in the weeks to come. This is definitely an update worth looking forward to for T-Mobile Nexus 6 owners.
