It does not come across as a surprise for us to hear that majority of the smartphone manufacturers out there have already introduced a flagship device that sports a QHD display, and Motorola has yet to jump aboard the QHD bandwagon as it dances along to the 1080p tune where its DROID Turbo/Moto Turbo flagship was concerned in the previous year. Well, the folks over at Motorola look set to have changed their stance with the most recent rumors pointing to next generation flagship smartphones that will come with Quad HD resolution in order to keep up with the rest of the pack.
Other than having a superior display that will be easy on the eyes, these new flagship devices are also touted to come with the high end chips from Qualcomm. At point of publishing, a pair of these flagship level devices are undergoing testing over in the US by the Verizon. One of them would be the Moto XT1578, carrying the codename Clark as it sports a 5.25″ QHD screen (1440×2560 pixels), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with a hexa-core CPU and has Android 5.1.1 Lollipop in tow.
As for the other flagship, it would be the Moto XT1585 that will be better known as Kinzie, also coming with a QHD display, albeit a smaller one at 4.6″, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. No word on when either one will roll out though.
