The OnePlus Two will be the follow up to the OnePlus One of last year, and given the popularity of the original handset, many are probably curious as to what the OnePlus Two could bring to the table. The good news is that so far based on what we know, the company will not be cheap out on its hardware.
According to a recent post on Weibo by the company’s CEO Pete Lau, he has seemingly confirmed that the handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. This hardly come as a surprise given that the Snapdragon 810 is probably the top of the line chipset from Qualcomm at the moment.
Not to mention handsets from other OEMs such as HTC, LG, and Sony are using it as well. Of course given that the OnePlus Two is only expected in the later part of the year, some would have thought they might have opted for a newer processor, but as GizChina points out, using the Snapdragon 810 could be cheaper then.
As for pricing, Lau threw out a figure of 2,499.99 yuan which when converted is roughly $403 which is a pretty affordable price. That being said, the rest of the specs remains to be seen but so far what we’ve heard is that it will sport a 5.5-inch QHD display, 4GB of RAM, a 3,300mAh battery, and could include laser focus fingerprint technology.
