New Motorola Model Could Sport “Unbreakable” Display
It looks like Motorola has come under the limelight for quite some bit today, as we brought you word on how a couple of upcoming Motorola flagship smartphones are in the works along with some bits and pieces of the hardware specifications. Apparently, these new models will be part of the DROID range that will remain exclusive to Verizon over in the US, with one of them being known as “Clark”, while the other would be the “Kinzie”. As for the latter, it is said to sport a smaller 4.6” display as opposed to the “Clark”, but you get a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution with it – translating to a 639ppi pixel density. However, things change all the time without an official announcement, and it seems that the Kinzie would be getting a new “unbreakable” display instead.
In other words, the Kinzie’s display is now said to arrive in the form factor of a 5.43” QHD YOUM display, which would be larger than the earlier mentioned 4.6” screen. Motorola (and most probably Verizon) will then market the device as having an “unbreakable screen”, although we do wonder what would the extent of unbreakable be – got to read the fine print then. Well, the DROID range of smartphones from Motorola have always been robust, so having an “unbreakable screen” does sound like another feather in its cap, yes?
