Some folks feel that HTC has more or less plateaued a long time ago, where most of the new handset designs are far from being interesting, as they share a rather homogenous look. Well, it seems that HTC has not yet tired of their range of One M9 variations, with the HTC One ME9 (also known as the Hima Ace) is being prepared for a launch over in the South Asia region, where the likes of India, Hong Kong and Taiwan have already been “confirmed” over on the rumor mill, while other countries in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa will be ruled out.
It seems that more leaks have appeared to offer additional insight into what this device will carry, where it has been touted to be a One M9+ albeit with a metal frame/polycarbonate back and a missing secondary camera on the back. As for the main camera, it will still make use of the 20MP Toshiba sensor, whereas the camera on the front will rely on the 4MP UltraPixel sensor or a 13MP one like the Desire Eye.
Other rumored hardware specifications point to a 5.2″ QHD display, a fingerprint sensor, BoomSound stereo speakers, Android 5.0 Lollipop and Sense 7.0, accompanied by a MediaTek MT6795 chipset, 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
