There were rumors that Minority Report might return as a TV series and now it has officially been confirmed that over a decade after this movie was released on the big screen, a TV show of the same name is going to air later this year. Fox is bringing back Minority Report and the show will be set ten years after the end of pre-crime in Washington, D.C. The original movie was released back in 2002 and it was directed by the great Steven Spielberg.
The show will be set a decade after pre-crime ends in Washington, D.C. One of the three Precogs will find it hard to lead a “normal” human life after all that ends and will continue to be haunted by visions of the future.
The troubled Precog will meet a detected that’s haunted by her past and she’ll prove to be useful to him in finding out a purpose to his gift.
Minority Report TV series on Fox comes from Paramount TV, Amblin TV and 20th Century Fox Television, starring Stark Sands and Meagan Good with Kevin Falls and Max Borenstein as the showrunners.
Even though no air date has been announced yet by Fox for the Minority Report TV show, it’s heading to the fall pilot season, so fans will have to wait a couple of months before they can find out whether or not it lives up to their expectations.
