If you’re an active guitar or bass player, or have been around enough bands or attended enough gigs, chances are you’re familiar with the Marshall brand of guitar amplifiers, which many consider to be the gold standard when it comes to guitar amps. However over the years, Marshall has taken their experience and has ventured into less musician-specific audio products, and the recently announced Kilburn Bluetooth speakers is one of them.
As you can see in the image above, you might be thinking that the Kilburn speakers are actually guitar amplifiers and we can understand your momentary confusion. This is because Marshall was decided to model the look of the speakers after their amplifiers and if you do have some Marshall speakers at home, then these Kilburn speakers should fit right in.
That being said apart from its looks, the Kilburn speakers pretty much perform as advertised. Like we said these are Bluetooth speakers so they should pair with pretty much any media device that is Bluetooth-enabled. It also has a strap on the top so that you can bring the speakers with you wherever you go, making it ideal for road trips and parties.
The speakers will sport a 4-inch woofer, a pair of 0.75-inch tweets, and three amps. It is also said to last a good 20 hours before needing a recharge which is actually pretty decent. Marshall will be releasing the speakers next month where it will be priced at $300 each.
