Merely a day after confirming that Windows Phone will be rebranded to Windows 10 Mobile after the software is released to consumers, Microsoft today released a new Windows 10 Mobile preview build for folks who are participating in the beta software program. Build 10080 for supported devices brings several new features including support for universal Office applications, new Xbox, Music, Video and Camera apps as well as the Windows Store beta for phones.

The previous beta added support for more Windows Phone devices, bringing the total number of handsets that can run these beta builds to 35. Today’s build adds support for a few more, including the Lumia 640 and 640 XL, Lumia Icon and Lumia 930, as well as the HTC One M8 for Windows.

Those who own a supported device and want to try out the beta build, they first need to register for the Windows Insider Program. The entire process doesn’t take more than a couple of minutes, but do keep in mind that since you’re playing around with beta software it could cause problems with your phone particularly if you don’t follow the install instructions correctly.

Folks who already have a prior Windows 10 Mobile beta build installed, they simply need to head over to the Settings app and open Update & recovery to “check for updates,” this will automatically pull the latest build from Microsoft’s servers.
