We did take a look at the very first Huawei Honor handset a fair number of years ago, and it is nice to see that the company has grown from strength to strength. In fact, a brand new low-end Huawei Honor handset has been spotted over at TENAA, which is China’s certification body much like our FCC, and this particular smartphone will feature a gold frame for that added touch of elegance.
It looks as though this budget-friendly smartphone is being prepared for a launch in the near future, and no official name has been attached to it just yet. Still, this particular device has passed through the required TENAA certification over in China, where it carries the model number SCL-AL00 with it. Strangely enough, much has remained hush hush where its hardware specifications are concerned, but then again, one ought not to expect too much from it.
Chances are we will find a Qualcomm chipset with a 1.09 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU underneath the hood, mated to 2GB RAM, with Android 5.0 Lollipop in tow, dual-SIM functionality and 4G LTE network support. Looks like there is nothing quite like a little bit more patience to wait it out until Huawei themselves come up with an official announcement of this gold framed device!
