While the world stopped for a moment as Google announced their latest version of the mobile operating system, Android M, you know for sure that the mad scramble among smartphone manufacturers is all but unofficially announced. Seeing that Android M will oust Android Lollipop in due time, you can be sure that smartphone manufacturers, too, would like to ensure that they remained ahead of the game by delivering the Android M update as soon as possible on the various smartphones available.
Of course, while we do know that Android M remains under development at the moment and will only be released officially before Q3 2015 is over, you can bet your bottom dollar that many an Android user are scratching their heads, wondering if their hardware would pick up the latest Android M when it arrives. Fret not, owners of the HTC One M9 or HTC One M9+, the company has confirmed that both the One M9 and One M9+ will be getting the Android M update, but no concrete date has been given just yet. This does make plenty of sense, especially when you take into consideration how the HTC One M9 happens to be the company’s flagship device, and users would not expect anything less.
