General Mobile 4G Shows Up In Europe

Google, the famous Internet search giant, has just unveiled their very first Android One smartphone which has been specially made just for the region of Europe. The handset’s name? It is known as the General Mobile 4G, and will be released later this week – in three days’ time, in fact, over in Turkey. While one would know that majority of Turkey happens to lie in Asia, with just a wee bit of Istanbul situated in Europe, Google has played on this technicality by christening it as its “first Android One European country.”

Just what will the General Mobile 4G come with if you happen to be an interested party? For starters, it will be powered by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop right from the get go, not to mention the promise of software updates – guaranteed, mind you, for a couple of years. Of course, this is far from being a high-end smartphone in order to keep to the Android One image, it does have a number of features that are more than decent.

For instance, your eyes will be treated to a 5” IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, while it sports a 5MP front-facing camera, a 13MP shooter at the back, a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a 2,500 mAh battery.
