Basically, Disney World has banned selfie sticks on rides, and the management at Orlando, Florida intends to crack down on guests who do not want to obey such a recommendation. While selfie sticks have been officially banned since last month at several rides, a handful of park customers do not seem to want to comply, and hence, “No Selfie Sticks” signs have started to appear all around Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
You can make use of selfie sticks at areas that are deemed safe, and even be brought around on your rides as they are safely kept, but one thing’s for sure – you cannot use them on rides. After all, you would not want a three-foot stick being exposed on a fast moving vehicle that has so many other people on it – skewering your fellow human being by accident is definitely horrific!
