We don’t hear much about BlackBerry these days but the company is still trying to regain its lost footing in the market. The devices it released last year, BlackBerry Passport and BlackBerry Classic, have done a reasonable job of improving its fortunes slightly. What does 2015 have in store for BB fans? According to CEO John Chen the company will launch four new devices this year.

Chen made these remarks during his talk at the Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce local lunch in the company’s hometown. He talked a great deal about BlackBerry and the team’s plan to take the company forward.

The CEO reiterated that four new handsets are going to be released this fiscal year, one of which has already been released, it’s the mid-range BlackBerry Leap that’s already available in select markets across the globe.

Next up is a flagship Torch-like Slider which BlackBerry showed off briefly earlier this year, it will have a touchscreen display and a full QWERTY keyboard in a slider form factor.

The other two probably include the BlackBerry Oslo which is a modified version of the Passport, and the Porsche Design P’9984 that’s primarily aimed for the high-end luxury buyers.

Chen didn’t go into detail about these devices or when we can expect them to arrive.
