The Xperia Z4 is turning out to be Sony’s worst kept secret. Already we have seen multiple hands-on photos of the unreleased device as well as renders. Even today a new press render of the Xperia Z4 has been leaked online. Sony has not yet confirmed when it intends on announcing its new flagship smartphone.
Xperia Z4 will take the baton from the Xperia Z3 which Sony launched late last year. It didn’t really perform too well in the market, T-Mobile recently decided to stop selling the device even though it hasn’t been around for more than six months.
Sony has a different approach since it launches two flagship smartphones in one year. The time is ripe for a new Xperia high-end handset but the company didn’t make an announcement at MWC 2015 where the likes of Samsung and HTC unveiled their new devices.
As far as specifications go the Sony Xperia Z4 is expected to tout the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor under a 5.2-inch Quad HD display. 4GB RAM, 20.8 megapixel rear camera and IP68 certification are all expected.
We’re still waiting for official word from Sony about the release date of this device. Only then we’ll come to know just how much the new flagship will cost.
