Every month members of the Xbox Live Gold program are provided access to several titles for free, this adds value to the subscription service and providers gamers with free titles. As part of the Games with Gold program three new games will be available for free to both Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners throughout the month of May 2015.
Xbox One owners get Pool Nation for an additional month, this title has already been available for free. CastleStorm: Definitive Edition, a $14.99 value, will go free from May 1-31 on the Xbox One.
Xbox Live Gold members who are using the Xbox 360 will receive Mafia II, a $19.99 value, for free from May 1-15. Starting May 16 and running through May 31 they’ll be able to download the $49.99 F1 2013 title for no cost.
F1 2013 is certainly one of the biggest titles that’s being offered under this program, Xbox 360 owners who haven’t purchased it yet get the chance to try it out for free next month.
A new F1 title is already in the pipeline and it will arrive on the Xbox One as well, F1 2015 is expected to be released at some point later this year.
Xbox owners get a pretty decent lineup for May 2015 which certainly makes it work paying a monthly subscription fee for Xbox Live Gold. Let’s wait and see if June can top this lineup.
