Patch 6.2 for World of Warcraft is certainly shaping up to be a rather exciting one. For starters we have learnt that Blizzard will be introducing the Mythic difficulty to dungeons and new mounts will also be introduced to the game. Now for gamers looking to get more out of the game, the patch notes has listed that Blizzard will also be adding a shipyard to the game.
With the shipyard, gamers will be able to build ships and send them out on naval missions. It is unclear as to what we might be able to expect just yet as Blizzard did state that they will be sharing additional details as the development of the feature continues. The shipyard will also be a requirement for gamers if they want to visit the new zone, the Tanaan Jungle which will offer daily quests and resources.
The Tanaan Jungle will also play home to the Hellfire Citadel raid so unless you plan to have your guildies summon you or zone in via the LFR tool, you will need to build the shipyard in order to gain access to it. We have to admit that the shipyard and the idea of naval missions sounds rather appealing, although we’re not sure if players will actually be able to go on board the ship or if it will be similar to Garrison missions where it will be conducted and completed behind the scenes.
