Earlier this year Twitch announced that it will host the first annual TwitchCon in its hometown of San Francisco, California. The company described this event as a “celebration of all things Twitch.” At that point Twitch had merely released a save the date for this event, today there’s more information about when you can pick up a badge to attend and how much you will have to pay for one.
The convention’s keynote address will be delivered by Twitch CEO Emmett Shear, while numerous panels, workshops and other events will also be conducted during the convention.
Starting tomorrow badges for TwitchCon 2015 will be sold through the TwitchCon website. Sales start at 2 pm PDT. One-day badges for Friday and Saturday are $50 and $60 respectively. Passes for both days cost $85.
Twitch is also going to host an after-party on the convention’s second day, Saturday, in order to access the after-party attendees will have to pay an extra $25.
Tomorrow early-bird pricing will be available for the badges until 11 pm PDT. Friday and Saturday only badges will be priced at $45 and $55 respectively during this time. Two-day badges will cost $75.
First annual TwitchCon will be held in San Francisco, California at the Moscone West Hall of the Moscone Center from September 25 – 26th, 2015.
