sling-tv-logoSling TV has been in the spotlight recently, what with HBO going live there in time for the Game of Thrones premiere as we shared on the first day of April. Well, this time around, Sling TV has announced Sling International, which will roll out close to 200 channels in 18 different languages. The world is truly a global village, don’t you think so?

With programming delivered in eighteen languages available from today onward across all Sling TV supported devices, the monthly subscriptions will kick off from $15, which should be affordable enough for most people, even in developing countries. The transition from DishWorld to Sling International brand will also comprise of the launch of a trio of new language groups alongside an updated user interface that will keep up with the times, where it will be available today to all Sling TV customers as well.

One will be able to enjoy Sling TV and Sling International content together using the same app on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, in addition to the current-generation Roku players and Roku TV models, Android and iOS devices, Xbox One, and Mac and PC. Now that is certainly a fair number of devices supported, which is always a good thing if you would like to expand your reach. [Press Release]
