Samsung Galaxy Tab A Coming To The U.S. Next Month

It has been a while since Samsung launched a new tablet in the United States and the company is taking care of that today. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A is coming to the U.S. next month. This mid-range tablet is available in two different screen sizes and there’s also a model that comes bundled with the S-Pen, it should certainly appeal to those who are used to the company’s Galaxy Note lineup.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A will be available in 8 inch and 9.7 inch variants, the only difference being the screen size as specifications remain the same. Both have the same 1.2GHz quadcore Snapdragon 410 processor from Qualcomm coupled with 1.5GB of RAM.

The tablet has a 5 megapixel camera on the rear and a 2 megapixel shooter on the front. There’s 16GB and 32GB storage available for both variants and they both have a 1,024×768 display.

Due to the agreement between Samsung and Microsoft some of the Redmond company’s apps will come pre-installed on these tablets, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and even OneDrive. Customers will also receive 100GB of free storage for two years on OneDrive when they purchase this tablet.

The 8 inch and 9.7 inch variants start at $230 and $300, customers can pick up the S-Pen variant for $350. They can be purchased through Samsung’s website and retailers like Amazon and Best Buy, units will be delivered starting May 1st.
