Tomorrow Rockstar is finally going to release Grand Theft Auto 5 for the PC. The game has been out for a couple of years but initially it was only available on PS3 and Xbox 360. Last year it was released for the next-gen consoles, it was also when we heard official word that the title will be coming to the PC. After multiple delays it will be released tomorrow and PC gamers will have access to an exclusive feature called Rockstar Editor.
Rockstar Editor is a special feature that’s exclusive to GTA 5 for PC. It lets players record, edit and share videos that have been created with footage taken from both Story Mode and GTA Online.
To provide an overview of its capabilities Rockstar today released a video titled “An Introduction to the Rockstar Editor,” which shows off features like filters, depth of field, audio customization options, special camera modes and more.
It even has a unique Director Mode which lets players stage creative moviemaking sequences using a cast of different characters that include familiar faces from the Story Mode, to animals and even pedestrians.
Finished footage can then be uploaded to YouTube or shared with friends through the Rockstar Games Social Club. Rockstar Editor will be immediately available for use when GTA 5 for PC is released on April 14th.
