Pretty cool concept, right? However its design also leads to some interesting setups, like the one pictured above put together by the folks at DC.watch (via PhotoRumors). Basically what they have done is attach a ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 300mm f/2.8 lens to the Olympus AIR camera module, and thanks to the design of the lens and the its length, it could be set up in such a way that it looks like you’re mounting a rocket launcher on your shoulder.
Of course photographers might realize that it is just a very long zoom lens, but we reckon if you were to walk around the streets with it on your shoulder, it could easily pass off as a weapon that could get you arrested, something which we don’t recommend you try and do! Of course there are “safer” ways of carrying around this lens attachment if that’s what you’re after, but admittedly this set up does make it more comfortable and manageable, but what do you guys think?
