Developers have already been creating a lot of apps for the Apple Watch so it’s very likely that you won’t be pressed for choice when you finally get your hands on Apple’s first smartwatch. Pandora has decided to carry on its tradition of being available for every new Apple device on launch today. The internet radio service confirmed today that Pandora for Apple Watch will be available on launch day, that’s April 24th.
In a post on its official blog, Pandora reminds us that when the original iPhone arrived back in 2007 “we knew we had to be available on it on day one.” Then when Apple launched the first iPad in 2010 Pandora was available for it on launch day as well.
The Apple Watch is the company’s first new product in a very long time and there’s no doubt that it’s fans are excited about it. This also gives Pandora a chance to carry on with its tradition which is why the Pandora will be available on the Apple Watch come April 24th.
Users will be able to start listening to their tracks quickly using the smartwatch and can view which track is playing at a single glance.
The app will also allow users to control the volume and handle new music notifications without having to pull the iPhone out.
Apple Watch will be released on April 24th. Pre-orders open April 10th.
