There definitely is value in terms of nostalgia, otherwise you would not see the likes of classic games being released on far more modern platforms in this day and age, not to mention retro looking fashion continuing to make its comeback year after year in various phases. Having said that, the original Tomb Raider title has been released on the Google Play Store thanks to the folks over at Square Enix, and you will be able to purchase it for just $0.99, now how about that for pocket sized entertainment that is big on action and adventure?
Surely this is a good opportunity for those who have yet to get acquainted with Lara Croft’s pair of guns as well as her acrobatic ability to solve one mystery or puzzle after another. It is time to take a trip down memory lane – rolling the clock all the way back to 1996. Do bear in mind that the original game was introduced way before Full HD graphics became the norm, and the gameplay might be found wanting, but if you have not given the original Lara Croft a spin, now would be a good time to do so. Do bear in mind that the first game was designed by Core Design, although Square Enix too over the mobile redesign. At least Android 4.0 is required to enjoy this title.
